Seanachaí's Annual Summer Camp for Young People

Every summer at the Irish American Heritage Center (4626 N. Knox Ave., Chicago, IL), Seanachaí hosts a Summer Theatre Workshop for Children, ages 7-12. Students in the program learn all aspects of theatre, including voice, movement, character building, acting, and direction. They design and create the set, their costumes and the play's props.

The summer theatre camp runs six afternoons from 1-4pm at the Center, and culminates in two productions performed during the IAHC's Irishfest. Past plays performed include Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, and in 2009, our first ever musical: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
